I have installed 1.3 and it really looks nice to me. However I support the suggestion to make it possible to hide the search function. We are using this module for customer support (customers are allowed to upload and download specific files), and the list will never be that long that they need to search. The less functionality here, the better.
I would really appreciate a progress bar, as we have customers uploading files up to 150 Mb (needed to raise some values in web config to make this possible ...) and there is no indication whatsoever what is going on, while it can take up to one hour.
I would also suggest an option where an e-mail is sent to a specific e-mail address to indicate an upload of a file, so people responsible for handling it are alerted. This e-mail should only be an information text (no files attached to it, because of the size).

First off, thank you for the input. All of your ideas, or some close-version of them, are already on my list of features-to-add to the product. As I am making some changes to the search functionality, I will try and add the ability to disable it via the admin screen. We could before then make some code changes for you, so the search box and icon does not disaply. It would effect all instances of the module on your portal.
Uploading: I have some solutions for this, but not yet integrated to the module. This feature will be coming soon, however.
Email alerts:This is not a very large change, except it would require additions to the admin area. The admin area is currently being re-designed. Perhaps next release I will map out adding this feature.
